sonnets & roses
that feeling...
when you journey to where the sun smells of summer
and the warm air whispers sonnets to your ears
that yearning...
when you perch like a bird on hilltop plain overlooking the sea
and the waves run back to you in splendid embrace
that touch...
when this flowery field speaks of rainbow
and I dance to many rhythms wafting from your smile
that moment...
when love greets pleasure on Valentine's meet
and I know deep down you are meant for me
these dreams...
evergreen
these memories...
pleasant sweet
these roses...
smell like you

Hello!
This is a joyful poem! I can feel your happiness. Love, mature or brand new, brings out the "Shakespeare" in all of us!
Thank you!

How absolutely wonderful...
I dare say, that you would have been right at home in the age of romanticism! One can see the Romeos of the day vying for your talents with purses of silver, so that they might whisper your pleasantries in the ear of their woman. ~ Geez.
