The click clack
of the trams
moving
back
and forward.
Car engines
humming
gently
along the street.
A plane
flying
high in the sky.
The voices
of people
on bicycles
riding by.
My
busy
busy
neighbourhood

About This Poem
Last Few Words: I was standing outside a major chain store where I purchase most of my stationery and computer stuff. It was early on Saturday morning and I knew it was going to be a hot day, so I wanted to get things done, so that I could start my day. I was watching and listening to the sounds and sights of people beginning before the energy began to develop in the zone.

I can...
picture standing there in front of the store, eyes closed, listening to the sounds of morning, feeling the morning sun. Much different than most scenes of being in the forest or some quiet glade. Nicely done. ~ Geezer.
