Surrogate
a tower I built
from bones of freedom
sown with ash and skins
of treason
darted through with
cutlery silver
forked tongues
that did deliver
and smoking eden
from atop I gazed
the fires of pyres
that the dead did
craze
and my silhouette
bride and I did
reside
Hells penthouse
panoramic pad

burning motorcade
lately the dreams are
more and more intense
all gleaned from movies
I flip through on the ol telly
and from books roamed
when I was young
and still just half the fool
I didnt bury the bus
stock it with jelly and bickies
tins of cartridge
read the book
I will be awestruck
when the stars will fall
burning in the seas
better get my Raybans
and my lawnchair
