another one i composed but saved it ere the lightening

when one has a hidden matchbox

sparks are bound to spark
and when they ignite another
so many, my, my sparks ....
can you count them???

glad we spoke
howz the sparking going??
bang blast
my what was that a heavenly explosion
out of vision
under the cover of darkness
the world was lit sparkling
who was it??

a brilliant but temporary fire

no matter how many matchsticks may conspire,
a bigger fire they accomplish but still temporary
for when the phosphorous runs out, so do they.
Likewise, my sparks are a snuffing that douses
the flames of my inward parts and desires.
One day I shall be found out for what I truly am
a mere vessel that clangs & reverberates when struck.
