the rumble
lies within
the quiet sits outside
with mind between its claws
filled with jar gleamings
while the skull shells
sift their meaning
dark and sallow
your soul lays against
my parchment
thick raised
ink
fingerprint articulation
breathed in whispers
thick with want
like a shore wave
falling in the crescent coast
how I loved you the most

For my Mermaid
this is this ghost of us
awash
the mystery
clinging
easing
like a sigh
the chill
the hush
...W..

thank you Lonnie
always loved the perfect written poetry and the free verse graffiti
and strange home spun works on vehicles large and small
commercial and private
Like "Love Bandits" on the rear of a purple Tornado
"Hillbilly Deluxe" on a large modern SUV
Im always amused at the older tractor trailers
with the wind screen logos
and the graffiti in the tunnels around town here
We have artwork too several cut outs they overlap
to do a three colour seperation graffitti peice
complex and simple really but stunning
rather then the freehand bottle works
