Tantrum

The monster speaks
my humour reeks
outward bile leaks
somewhere it peaks
downward it streaks
apologise, I'm meek

From a disgusted wife

My interpretation as a divorcee was-

sh.tty husband speaks
Uncalled for vile word

But to keep the peace
I pretend it was unheard

Why do I always have to compromise?
When I am sometimes right

And act out all those lies?
SO I can snuggle up in the night.

Nor would I ever be married again

Apparently marriage counselling doesnt work because they are never there when you need them.
Perhaps we need a "marriage line"
akin to "child line"
