thought for the day

running in place gets you nowhere
hiding out does the same
missing out on what life has to offer
methinks is a bloody shame

sublime ocean...

...a supine potion
would best serve your purpose, methinks
you've need of weed
for nowt's guaranteed
to give you the utmost of winks.

love your philosophy.....

thanks mand for taking the time to share your thoughts! the older i get the more i realize i should have had the courage to take more risks and not be concerned what others have to say. i allowed my 30 year marriage to get in the way. but once i mustarded up my gumption to ask my ex for a trial separation and then we both agreed divorce would help keep our friendship in tact, i finally had the time to start to get to know 'me,' the person i'd kept hidden for all those years. that's when i finally started to try things i never even considered. i'm still a work in progress and that's a good feeling!
