Today's Poem
Where were you,
When. I . was . Younger....
Less scarred?
You would have liked, the less
expired version of, me.
But,you come NOW and disrupt my life.
You show me,
that second chances are not unicorns.
They exist.
Hang in there. Hold on. Hold me.
Every scar, was practice, for you love.
God made you a warrior.
God made me yours.
In suplication I find peace within your arms.
Let's rebuild each other.
We are proudly cracked.
We are God's Psalms. Realised.

“Proudly
cracked”, that one is hilariously on point, kind of embarrassingly honest!
And the Psalms. So full of majesty and p a i n.
A well written paean to the romantique!

I'm sensing
You are a fellow soldier of love!!! :)
Love when you're older is definitely more embarrassing hehehe...thank you for the humourous and kind words!
