Tristantzarea

When we have the head, we also make the body, When we have the body, we lose our head Who else is Hecuba today when the actor disappears, Is the choir disappearing and only online is the setting? The king no longer receives chills, The future is opaque And the pawn falls, lamentably the bishop It masks mortals. We're shooting monkeys, our blind is pulled from the monkey. The light is twinkling, the switch is on And we go sledding, even though we have a cart. Boiling temple, odor absent, Lost taste on a turbulent lung, And the cough dances in my saliva With the same arrangement of cruel cage. Amnesia is good, because we forget Euterpe Although we are storks, we end up with some rags What wipes our spine In the clink of choral coins.

I would never...

have guessed! I'm not sure that even esoteric fits the discription here. Even after the explanation of it being about the pandemic. This is the kind of work that needs, no, demands a deep explanation of just about every line! Welcome to Neopoet and I hope you find an audience that will appreciate you. The Random Challenges are explained in the contest rules; which explicitly say that the title has to be the name of the writing challenge you have accepted. [You may, however use your own title after it]. Good luck! ~ Geezer.

Are you Frank Zappa? Or Tom Marshall.

Seriously tho. I could read this a bunch of times and it could mean any number of things or nothing at all. I like how it forced me to read it again immediately. Great work, weird, but aren’t we all, nevertheless nice job.
