Uncertain conclusions

I've come to the conclusion,
the one to break through all my illusions,
what conclusion is this,
the delusion of the subtle faint hiss,
some can't audibly hear through the silent noise,
the ambience of solitude,
a backdrop that nothingness exudes.

Behind the ship's wheel,
there is no describing the sinking I feel,
but I will rise with more robust sails, woven thicker than ever before,
with a resolve to avoid unnecessary war, with myself and allies, and even those who stray,
those who declared war on me ensuring their own decay,
Further solidifying my wish to make it all go away.

It's strange how life is once in a lifetime. The hull of the ship chooses to be tethered to the lifeline
But I face uncertain conclusions
What Steers the benefits of confusion,
the ropes and rigging are stronger,
than ever before,
and chains bind no longer,
swimming in the sea of sombers.

Cascade of emotions,
slogans and ridiculed devotions, intoxicated under the spell of magic potions,
in oceans of uncertain proportions

Our navigation through our moral compass carved out of ourselves without duress,
I've dropped the anchor but still haven't stopped.
They're pirates that steal where our good is propped,
It's obscene because you resonate with the current scene

Finding our center of critical mass,
It's hard not to choke in the fumes and gas, doubt and remain bound in chains,
below deck Navigating to Stars are the claims,
how to escape this,
so ignorant but I can't ignore it,
It takes me to the underground pit.

Time to set another sail,
next time I'm determined not to fail,
Just like this friendship did
I'm behind the ship's wheel,
understanding the sinking I feel,
no longer afraid to counter this unfair deal, cards will no longer be dealt
to the familiar sinking I once felt
The sinking I feel now,
is that all that is left of the shipwreck

Neopoet AI 5-29-23 version

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

The poem "Uncertain conclusions" explores themes of introspection, resilience, and navigating through life's challenges. The imagery of a ship, the sea, and the struggle against internal and external conflicts is vivid and metaphorical. The poem effectively conveys a sense of inner turmoil and determination to overcome obstacles.

One aspect to consider is the consistency of the metaphorical elements throughout the poem. While the ship metaphor is strong and central to the piece, there are moments where other metaphors and imagery are introduced (e.g., pirates, magic potions) that may slightly distract from the overall coherence of the theme. Ensuring a more focused use of imagery could enhance the clarity and impact of the poem.

Additionally, the poem transitions between different emotional states and reflections on personal growth, which can create a dynamic narrative. However, some transitions between these states could be further developed to provide a smoother flow for the reader. Consider refining the structure to create a more cohesive progression of thoughts and emotions.

Overall, "Unc

Hello Taylor

First time to meet, so nice to read a new friend.
As I understand that this is meant to be read and I wish to that you'd send a link of your spoken word.
I like the well used extended metaphor.
I wished to have a smoother flow by making a more consistent rhythm as a reader rather than a listener.
Could be only me, so let's see what others have to say.
Thank you for sharing anyway.
