Unethical Sweatshops

As you go to your local fashion store
And you look at all the goodies galore
Try not to fart, try not to think of poo,
All those clothes were made by slaves for you.

Adidas and Nike (and every other ugly name)
Should make you want to puke with shame;
Apart from their lack of aesthetic taste
Can you not see they stink of human waste?

They pay slave wages to kiddies slaving
And all you care about is money-saving;
Jesus wept, the world's an ugly, filthy place
May junk clothes wearers blush in disgrace.

Hi Edna, very good poem,

Hi Edna, very good poem, absolutely true. The title, content, rhyming and spacing are all perfect, to my poor knowledge.
I think perhaps you could change "nickels" for "slaving", as you have the word twice.
Enjoyed, if that's the correct wording for such a sad poem. We're all responsible, but now with the lockdown, I'm wearing very old clothes and keds. The planet is almost flourishing, if it were not for all the plastic micro fibers we continue to unload into the oceans and lakes. Shameful and dangerous.
Best, Gracy
