A Valuable Lesson
The bully’s lesson, laced with spite,
would say it wrong to start a fight.
And when he opens mouth to speak,
the bully makes himself look weak.
He calls it strength, he calls it might,
he hides beneath his hood of white.
A handshake firm, a sneering grin,
a broken promise, his skin so thin.
Let’s face it, he’s no diplomat,
a stage for thugs in fake combat,
and we the world see his game,
he comes out shouting, shifting blame.
In fascist fervour, full of guile,
pose for cameras, fake tooth smile.
‘We gave you billions to counter threat.’
Then tells the world you’re in his debt.
His dancing hands, pulling pricks
he scowls when people mention dicks
he’ll lose, then say he really won,
repeat, repeat, this deal is done.
He struts, he spits, he slinks offstage,
fake fury masked in forged outrage.
The lesson? Lies can win a crowd
if no one dares to shout aloud.

You have done a stellar job of telling of that Fat Fool holding the U.S. of A. in his pudgy hands while he sells us out to Putin! I cannot write of the terrible thoughts I have concerning his life and Death!

Thank you for your comment and reading. I know things feel tense where you are, but I wanted to say you're not alone. A lot of us over here are watching with disbelief and worry too. I hope you’re finding ways to stay sane and I hope you and Steve, have not been personally affected by his idiocracy?
It’s strange writing these things down and sharing them, doesn’t change the world, but it lets a bit of the pressure out. I'm very grateful for your comment.

Trump and his cronies are trying to abolish Social Security now. Non-Billionaire types such as the middle class, (the backbone of the country) depend on this when we retire... It galls me that we paid in, while those @ssholes get away without paying taxes. sorry for the rant and bless your kindness and intelligence.

Hi Cat, I'm watching this and I think it mirrors the UK in more ways than we realise. It's like Brexit for me seeing what's happening but far worse. Little did we know when Trump and Johnson were in power, how dangerous they were/are. Right now we are having to put up with that POS Farage and he is dangerous. A racist, fascist and a con man. He's also very pally with Trump. I hope the mid terms serve as a warning to all politicians in the USA. Take care, Ruby xx
