A little literary tribute to a very hard worker. That name just set my imagination going, completely unbidden

A weird elf once cavorted in a dell
away from dwarfs that watched him from the shadows,
to scribble notes to back the tales they’d tell
disturbing missives from declining meadows.

Howfor those sights assault my grieving eyes?
Alack a day, screams what am I to do?
Looking on I find to my surprise
the answers there within the skies of blue.
