When A Child Gives Me Advice
Most Children have hearts that are pure
Thoughts that are not surrounded by half held truths
When they offer their advice we really should think
About what they are saying
Because they' re seeing what is, not what is expected
Not words we want to hear but
Words that reflect what they feel
Without fear without compulsion
They speak what they feel
From their limited thoughts without regard to those that hear
They answer quickly
With instant thoughts aimed at helping
Friends and family

One of my favorite poems of the year. A lot of wisdom here. We all should aim towards being more like children. Honest, true, trusting, helpful and non judgemental. We all just need to listen more and stop our speech, because it is of no use. What a great poem, I really enjoyed the purity here.
