When Lights go out Come Again
When lights go out come again
think of me
a lonely bird flying sky high
am I the eagle you are in search

come to me when the lights go off
comfort me more than yourself
many told me today
they read me I'm good
but they leave no comments
lest I burst

they know not the time of travel
to the invisible universe
eternity
infinity
written in the language
of the galaxy

even day light
cannot change it
so abide with me

when the real time comes
no one will show '
the path unwritten
so burn your egos
remember me
I'm your real poem

I love this

I feel speechless. Comfort me more than yourself... My grandfather used to take me to a wendys along the susquehanna to look with binoculars at the island where hundreds of snowy egrets would roost. I like to think of him as a bird flying sky high, in the infinity written in the language of the galaxy. There is something mysterious about this, and for that reason so thought provoking. Sending love your way and hoping the lights stay on for a long time.

My favorite lines:

But, do you think this rhetorical question here is fitted? "am I the eagle you are in search".
