When planets align.

I rose late to frosty rosy dawn
First low and dark it came
Then your words fell in like
Spring rain, and I was filled
With hope again

One day when aligned
All our planets will collide
Into a beautiful union and
The explosion - seen light years away
Will signal all suns
A new fire has begun

and welcome to Neopoet! it is very nice to meet you. I hope that you will find a home for your poetry here. I like your title, it fits the poem well. it is great to read a love poem that isn't all gushy and mushy. very creative! I love the imagery. I hope to read more of your work in the near future :)

Let me add...

my welcome to Neopoet and I will echo Cat, saying that it is nice to see a love poem that is not so full of mush and gush. I too, hope that we will see more of your work. ~ Geezer.

Welcome Maddy..

Good first piece! Rosy fingered dawn, a bit frosty, love the contrast with the arrival of rain, you're off to a great start. Welcome.

Take care,

Chris.
