Where Is Justice
Where is justice
when Rohingya bleeds
in the cruel grip
of hatred's breed?
The loss of humanity
brings tears to my eyes
as faces of despair
replaced the silent cries.
Where is justice
when Paris was tainted by blight
with the murder of innocents
mercy forsaken, sanity denied?
Regardless of race and religion,
people have rights
to live in peace and harmony,
free from plight.

Hello,
A poets job is to open eyes, shake the world
awake ... if we can. If there are any objective
truths, in my view, it would be that genocide
and rape are always wrong, no matter how a
group or individual attempts to justify ...
thank you for the poem and the humbling
experience researching.
perhaps one day the majority will evolve to
the point where the golden rule will not only
be known but practiced worldwide.

Hi moonman
Thanks for the read and the comments. That's what I hope too but unless we deal with the black sheeps in the society, it will be difficult.

Hi Alid
The scourge of terrorism and its resultant mini-wars is going to likely be the hardest thing we have to deal with in the next 40 years or so. How can one reason with a person willing to blow himself up as long as he can take a bunch of innocent people with him? your poem is short and to the point.....stan
