Whispers of a Darker Lovliness
Irony is her cursor
in a field with little yield,
as jungled laws prove their tenacity has merit.
Nonetheless, Fate, skillfully attributes Life
with a magically different set of circumstancess,
one that whispers of a darker loveliness.
And so, as with the heart of any Mother
she finds favor in the serendipitous manner,
that Life's winds highlights her exotic beauty.
For, in the grand scheme of things
she is proud of the way both irony, & chance fail
to illustrate anything but, the "awe" of the jungle!

I am glad
you clarified whom you were writing about. I got a different meaning before I read your exercpt. I saw a mother who was domesticated on the outside but on the inside was still a free spirit, despite being bound by her responsibilities and daily life, she still held a part of her former self inside...beautiful write...

Doc
I liked this piece, and having spent many times in Africa it was music to the mind..
My Mama and Papa are in the everything of the Jungle.
Today everything is spread more widely and you have to really look for Mama and Papa it is such a shame.
Yet when I was there and listened to the people of Africa the spirit was only waiting to be thought of again to regain its rightful place,
