Why Touch Me
Touch me not I'm eighty
sans all owing to Covid 19
experiences similarly
poet like you equally
will morning sun
I'll ever see
walk about in dew
grass will envelop me
would anyone know
I'm no more
cold breeze will continue slapping
a new born leaf
not knowing autumn
has already come for me
now simply flying in thin air
like a twisted autumn one
will you comprehend
the surprise she experiences
when awake finds me missing
an empty bed
her face now blood red

Touch Me Not
Hi, Lovedly,
Of your many Covid poems, this is the most significant to me. It is extremely personal and has simple, but genuine emotion. Ours is to wonder if we will see the morning sun, walk about on dewy grass, see the autumn. Food for thought, I believe, as I wash my hands! Stay safe, Lovedly.
Thank you,
L

what will be will be
and thanks to both above thee for Inspiring mme @80
Corona is just at the periphery
imagine what is going on at other places
BUT AS YOU SAY
what will be will be
Surely
we have lived so far
HAPPILY
HOPEFULLY
DUTIFULLY
and SMILINGLY
Still
what will be will be
