but to drumpf, an impertinent ant

I like the rhymes. Who is Danielle, though? And what's the meaning of "punt" here?

Hi Ray
I would expect the word "punt" here to have no ambiguity, but as it is, you can take it as a gamble, or other synonymous word.
"danielle" is a traitor to Canada, but that's opinion.
I was considering using the word "treacherous" instead of "traitorous" because it added to the internal rhyme, but seemed a little harsh.
Thanks for reading and enjoying the rhymes, Ray!

So is "danielle" a person who's involved? I should use treacherous, better rhyme and no harsher than traitorous. Punt as an adjective then? Ok, it's a poem.

Hi Ruby!
...I know the c word in America is often considered misogynistic when related to women, but here, I am using it in the old world sense where oftentimes it is used generically. I hope you understand what I mean by that. Apologies for any offence. Thanks for your comment.
