WORTH MORE THAN A MILE FOR A SMILE
I WALKED MORE THAN A MILE JUST FOR A SMILE
ORIGINALLY WALKED TO SEE MY EX
SHE WASN'T THERE SO I THOUGHT WHAT NEXT
SO I JUST KEPT ON WALKING
MY MIND KICKED IN AND STARTED TALKING
DAM AM I THIRSTY ALL THIS WALKING
I HAVE NO MONEY FOR SOMETHING COLD AND DELICIOUS
SO I'LL KEEP ON WALKING, DON'T WANT TO STOP AND LOOK SUSPICIOUS
I THINK I'LL STOP AT THE NEXT FAST FOOD RESTAURANT
I'M SO THIRSTY WATER IS ALL I WANT
NEXT THING YOU KNOW THERE I AM
I WALK ON IN GO TO THE COUNTER AND SAY HELLO MAM
SHE SAID HELLO MAY I TAKE YOUR ORDER
ME COMPARED TO HER, I'M A LITTLE TALLER SHE'S A LITTLE SHORTER
BUT AS SHE HAD SPOKE SHE HAD A BEAUTIFUL SMILE
AND THAT ALONE WAS WORTH WALKING WELL OVER A MILE
AND HONESTLY SPEAKING WHAT CAN I SAY
THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE SHE GAVE ME MADE MY WHOLE DAY
