your nose is growing

So,
you wanted to be a porn king,
my little rascal,
and you thought big
and you talked a good schtik,
going through all the motions
until you came to my conclusion.

It's all right, Jack, go on. Write poems
of ejaculation and I'll read them
on occasion. But please don't be breaking
all the mirrors in your house fucking yourself to death,
you might get cut out of your own show while it'cccs still
on the road.

Amen.

It's not as funny as it sounds

My schizophrenic girlfriend broke all the mirrors in her house,
and cut herself badly.

She was dragged away by the cops, naked, she refused to wear clothes.

What is schizophrenia? A brilliant mind? A mind that doesn't fit our 'norm'?

This poem hurt me, because of the the humour. but that is probably why it shouldn't have hurt me.

My dad was bipolar with

My dad was bipolar with schizoid tendencies. I remember one head-shrinker saying that if he found *religion* (spirituality?) it might be beneficial. For me, he was the antithesis of a religious man though his brilliance also was curtailed by the most horrific of the drugs of his time...all the ines... thorazine, stelazine...etc.

I wish I knew then what I know now.

Thanks mags, rather than trolling for women in bars, its poetry groups. Hopefully no young woman (or older woman) will fall for their schtik. Unfortunately, I did some years ago when I thought *he* was beyond reproach or maybe it was all in my head. lol.
