Youth and Caution (Orange)
Bask in your naivety
Revel in the sun
Youthful and courageous
Free and on the run
Thirst for new experience
Try and satiate
Go and get your fill on fun
Before the hour’s late
Led headfirst to blind unknown
See what dreams become
Muse of all that you create
Before this youth is gone
When it fades by time or trial
Takes a different form
Becomes a handy caution sign
To help avoid the storm

Orange...
It does seem such a youthful color! Yellow for the sun and light and red for the fire of the heart! I am appreciative of the end; as it perceives caution as a necessary part of life, but only as one gains experience. Youth is orange! Your title is apt and the logic is built in. Good stuff!

The carefree days of being young
Orange is certainly a bright and carefree color, a good representation of youth. To go back to those days when everything was a new experience and fun!! Thank you for making me remember what that felt like. Excellent write.

dear Geez, (dear Tim, I am so very sorry! forgive me please?
the color Orange to me, was the dim glow of flashlights (losing their charge) as they looked for me. hm.. by Jove... I think you have given me my write!
I like your take on the color orange...youthful and sunny. my favorite lines are:
When it fades by time or trial
Takes a different form
Becomes a handy caution sign
To help avoid the storm
