Hey everybody

I have written several forms of poems and it has helped me a lot with my writIng and understanding of poetry. Haiku is one of my favorite. I have writtens sonnets, senyu, and a couple of others. It's been a lot of fun learning here at Neopoet. Splash Pool has help me even more and will do the same for everyone taking advantage of it.

Happy learning
Barbara

2. poems will receive light critique
3. each participant will then be assigned a different form in which to write his/her poem
4. Ian has posted a blog on forms on stream to help you in this
5. each participant then submits poem in assigned form
6. light critique on new poem form
* note : this is a learning shop, so if you have problems ASK FOR HELP

Stan

S1-L1 - change 'shop' with 'workshop' for a more rounded feel to the line
S1-L2 - You may want to try changing 'Lou' with 'Barbara'
S1-L6 - consider changing 'in' with 'with'

Other than that a good solid piece, really enjoyed and you didn't mention nature either which is always a good thing! It did lack rhyme and feel you could have taken more time to turn this into a rhyme, or better still made each point a Haiku.

LOL!
