The Silent Companion

Who said I'm alone?
You're always there
By my side.
Your words comfort me,
Inspire and shine.

You take me to different
Worlds, or better say
You bring the world
Into my hands.

Never a stray
in the thoughts
of your chapters.

Effigy!

My final words
will have no meaning!
Never inscribed
upon a head stone!

Burned and beaten
by the powers that be.
Going nowhere,
I have no home!

The gold existing
at the rainbows end,
has no meaning
to me now!

My friends and family
all oppose my will,
they force their hand
and try to manage me.

I've given up on
trying to please them.
They'll never understand
my fragile mind.

Here Comes The Rain

Remembering the damage,
facing the trauma,
Alone

Feeling the wound
tear itself open
again and again

A door slams in the distance
The bravery inside me
runs to her closet

Cutting words
from an angry mother nearby
sounds like screaming in my ears

I am a scared little girl
hiding under the bed
in the dark

Motionless,
Silent,
Trying to save herself.

Maginot

Maginot

The walls were thick with will—
not strength, not steel.

We laid them down like pronouns in a grammar of fear,
fluent only in repetition. Stone by stone we spelled out:
Never again. And meant it.

But silence tunnels too.

A whisper breached where no guns aimed—
not headlong, but sidelong,
like memory forgetting its own edge.

We stood behind ideas poured in concrete,
dared the years to erode resolve.
But wars do not read manifestos.

They rewrite them.

The Music Stand

The music stand
sits in the corner of my apartment
in the living room zone.
It reminds me
of the importance of music
in my life.
It demonstrates
just how much I have learned.
It tells me
that I need to practise
that pesky G chord
on my ukulele.

Woke Up On Another Era

I woke up,
not in a new world—
but in a new era.
Mine.

An era where silence feels richer than noise,
and my circle?
Curated.
Tight.
Real.

I let go of dead weight,
Even if it wore a family name
No guilt—just growth.

I've stopped,
spilling pieces of me into people,
who only sip from my soul,
for gossip and giggles.

You are my world Father

You are my world
Father
And in you world
I want to live
Forever Father
Also, it is amazing
How you have
Created your world
Before you created
Human beings
You have made the sky blue
With your holy hands
AIso, Father you have made
The birds with your holy hands
The last thing you made
After you made the human beings
Was the Ocean
During the Summer
The human beings spend there
Time
Swimming in there Ocean
All day long
Until the night arrives

Summer Solstice 2025

Friday, June twentieth
at 10:42 Post Meridian
Eastern standard time
will find Earth's North Pole tilted
closest toward sun.

This demarcates
most daylight hours of the year
for people living
within the northern hemisphere.

Just shy of the supposed bewitching hour
(more than twelve hours
from drafting these lines)
nearest star in solar system reaches
highest point in the sky.
