Release me

Release me, from your wicked hold,
you are as bad as eating mold,
it's going to lead me to where my body turns cold,
unlock your grasp. Why did you gasp?
you knew this was coming,
and I can tell you hate it,
but that's irrelevant.
Release me from your ambivalence,
i'm the one to suffer the consequence,
I know it was deliberate,
the insight hadn't been delivered yet,
I figure it had been intercepted,
so I foolishly accepted.
Release me from this ignorance,

Once Upon A Murder

Once upon a murder
As she gazed upon
Her ghostly home

Concrete slabs
Beneath granite feet
Cemented hands across her chest

Sanguine tears fell
From chiseled eyes
Tainting the sod below

A broken wing
From the first stone cast
Bruised, beaten and stained

His words cut like steele
Through her heart strings
They exploded fast

Never meant to be anything
More than second best
A memory that wouldn't pass

I HAVE A DREAM

I have a dream, tall, lofty in grandeur,
To be a beacon of hope, oozing magic, catching the stars,
Crumbling the walls of wither, wishing away its evil cause
I have a dream, a dare to leap.

I have a dream,a touch of miracle,
Bathing in the warmth of Joseph's grace,
To be a blessing to many, a curse to no foe,
A story that tingles many lips, a journey to admire, embark.
I have a dream, a way to go.

ANOTHER ACT

Alone here in the growing dark
I try to let a muse appear
yet the page stays white and stark
the words just refuse to come near.

Instead my mind drifts randomly
to the past, future and even now.
To wooded hollows wild and free.
but words avoid me, still, somehow.

Until....I think of coming fall
and all the others in the past.
The first time I heard a wild goose call
as it led its flock southward at last.

Unified & Harmonised

Collective thought energies link into a telepathic apex,
The construction of beliefs resonates between minds,
Emotions have unity through a visualisation reflex,
When the social subconscious strata of being aligns.

Through resonating structures of our social mind nexus,
Our self energies synchronise into a composite whole,
As the essences of the spirit merge and connect us,
And we realise that destinies connect through our soul.

A strange story

Saw an old lady knitting on the metro today.
She saw that I was staring and stared back at me.
If that is what you can truly call it.
Her eyes were white and not glaucoma white.
It was like staring into the white space of the Milky Way.

She started humming, my hands started trembling, and my mind began rumbling.
I was transported to a different time,
I was sent back to plantation times.
Wearing all white and sitting on a porch
Hugging myself so tight, and rocking back and forth.

Here's To You

When I am older
next twenty years,
and you are older, too,

we'll sit beneath
the slate blue sky,
and share a drink or two.

We'll toast to friends
who've sailed away
over the great divide,

and think about
the times ahead
just beyond the other side.

So sing sweet songs
to our living boons
who roam with us each day.

Sing sweeter songs
to unforgotten souls
who are never far away.

When I am gone
some thirty years,
and you shall follow soon,

Sometimes I Panic

Sometimes...
My heart rate is 130 sitting perfectly still

Sometimes
I can't breathe a breath big enough to fill my chest and satisfy my lungs

Sometimes
My eyes water and my lip starts to tremble

Sometimes
Everyone sounds like white noise
The tinnitus sounds like a bell chime
My head begins to pound,
I can feel my pulse bursting in my neck
Hands begin to sweat
Legs start to shake.

Sometimes
I feel like I'm going to die.
