We're delighted to announce that the migration to our new platform is complete! Welcome to the new Neopoet—a fresh, modern home for your poetry that maintains everything you love about our community while offering improved performance and accessibility (and while making maintenance and future developer much easier).

The transition went smoothly, and all your poems, comments, messages, and connections have been successfully transferred to the new site. We hope you're already enjoying the faster load times, mobile-friendly design, and cleaner interface.

We engaged Wishdesk for their technical expertise, and we appreciate all the developers there who helped us. Anri (who is a poet herself!) did an excellent job in the final stage of the project as our project manager.

POETRY

Over the past decade I've read many things about poetry. So I thought it only fair to put my 2 cents in. Some claim that poetry is a means of putting thoughts in a stylized form. Then they define the different styles.But good poetry is much more in my opinion. It can send a reader on voyages that they could never take in real life. It allows the writers to share different parts of their lives and experiences. It can transfer emotions from person to person.It sends mental imagery from person to person.Really good poetry even travels through time by preserving thoughts from decade to decade. Well that's about all I have to say about that.............Stan

As a long-time member...

I have been with Neo. from the inception of the idea of a new Neopoet in the beginning. I have seen all the innovations that you have come up with to make this the best, most family-oriented poetry site online. This new site is easy to access with phone or computer, and I have no doubt that we will enjoy the work that you have put in for a long time. Thank you, Andy.

I'm really glad everything…

I'm really glad everything went well, Andrew.
Our team will be very happy to help you all in the future! I think for me, as a PM, it is most rewarding to see a happy client and realize that a seemingly simple website idea on the Internet can connect so many people.

P.S. I'll definitely post some of my old poems here (although I feel a bit nervous to show them to others), since I write quite rarely now.

Hi Admin, I am contacting…

Hi Admin, I am contacting you again as I'm still experiencing significant issues with the revamped Neopoet site.

Firstly, I am unable to see any of my poems dated after 11th April 2023. I've also had another user message me to say that my page appears blank to them, which is very concerning. I did send a message to the admin team about this previously but didn't receive a reply, so I presumed I'd sent it to the wrong place?

Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, as a visually impaired user, I am finding it extremely difficult to navigate the new site. The design changes seem to have been made without consideration for accessibility, which is very disappointing and makes the site largely unusable for me.

I would really appreciate it if these issues could be looked into. Being unable to access my poems and use the site effectively is quite upsetting.

What a great effort you've put here. I understand that as I myself once built a page myself that is nothing to be compared to what you've done here and it yet took me a very long time to bring things together.
I know this has been a dream for you and Paul as well. You finally make the dream to become true!
Hope you're both satisfied as I and the others here are.
No words can be enough to tell how proud I'm to be a part of this community.
