Five Percent Battery

Running off fumes,
choking on smoke.
Sucking exhaustion
through pasty lips.

Engine's down a quart,
burn out,
Dark circles tell all,
who is about to fall.

Mercy lights,
Low battery,
jumper cables ignite.
Knock down, drag out fight.
