Silken Slippers
When you sleep at night
with your window open,
beyond the verandah
and the jacaranda,
where the clouds kiss
the escarpment edge
I wait for you,
walk with me take my hand,
put your silken slippers on.
with your window open,
beyond the verandah
and the jacaranda,
where the clouds kiss
the escarpment edge
I wait for you,
walk with me take my hand,
put your silken slippers on.
