Tone
Tone is a degree of darkness
and lightness.
In your brain,
a tone of love and hate.
Life is a burrowing existence.
Wind in the wheat.
The closing of the day.
Inanimate objects are turned into humans
with lives of their own,
exploring the depths of the undiscovered world.
I know it sounds quite absurd!
Death in the making.
Women in poetry.
Shells that sing their ocean song,
with ears pressed to the sand so dear.
Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to eat...
and lightness.
In your brain,
a tone of love and hate.
Life is a burrowing existence.
Wind in the wheat.
The closing of the day.
Inanimate objects are turned into humans
with lives of their own,
exploring the depths of the undiscovered world.
I know it sounds quite absurd!
Death in the making.
Women in poetry.
Shells that sing their ocean song,
with ears pressed to the sand so dear.
Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to eat...
