I think...
I know you must be speaking of one of the "Old Guard", is it Ian? anyway, Welcome to Neo, once again.

I feel this one. Was it
I feel this one. Was it Weirdelf/Jess? Love this poem so much cause I relate to it. I love how you use the word maybe flexibly and let it lead you into new areas.

I'm glad you are trying
I'm glad you are trying something new and diving into a new art.
My creative writing teacher in high-school shared so many poems with us by many poets, we'd get copies of a poem at the beginning of class, she'd read it. We submitted poetry journals and she'd comment in Green pen, not red, Green to mean keep going, this is good. She very much understood how overwhelmed many of us were trying to get our feet wet and build new skills. I love her for that. She gave us all rocks at the end of the class and gave us our own Green pen last day of class to say we're at the helm now. She is a great human. There's something to be said about great inspirational people in poetry or the arts. They positively infect us.

It will take even more years
To remember the people that owned our hearts
This was such a brave rendition
Thank you for sharing
