G u n n B e l t z

the glass slippery with its lean
the tap flowing
silent drops
and an outside rain
thunders down like a wave
of scorn

torn is the winter arriving
the hurricane ferocity
a candle lament
and the darkness screaming
through a velvet fear

burning letters
firing fonts
and vortice
whorls

the old worlds
the carnival
joy
of exposure
in the lost

our land
of Lah

beneath the
surfs rush
the hoofbeat
tempo

I Recall

I recall a time when communication was as easy
As rain falling, innumerable thoughts condensing
as droplets from eaves

And then evaporating as they should
Without the need to record the feat
Of embracing gravity

A Bakelite phone clinging to the wall
with umbilical longing

The cable extending to the son that would
ring them all, eventually

On an unadulterated, innocent line
of no interest to the state at all

Save the sanity of his Mother,
slaking her thirst on his news

MAZE

MAZE

I walk through the wilds
of childhood past
lost in the longing
nailed to the years by gravity,
stunned by my own existence
left to my journey of one.

lovely strangers

beyond the stars...
some day we may meet..
if only...

you know not the way ....
this life has now gone. away..
with the setting sun ...

we may meet in the far folds of time ...
when once again...
I am young........

and
for you then a desired one
for fun
not during this life's run..............................

for none know me
what!

we belong to
the universe...
where life does traverse...
in lovely verse

Five Used To Be a Little Number

five weeks.
it's an awful long time, if you ask me.
all the worry and the nerves and the upset
they were all for naught -
and that's a good thing, too -
because if one day is closer to happiness
imagine what five weeks mean.
five weeks mean everything has faded
five weeks mean there is hope
five weeks mean maybe she won't be embarrassed of the overhead light
and five weeks mean
the chance for five more.

Myth by Ron BlueDemon77

At the rusted gates standing, alone and naked
-
jeered at by the guard who thinks I won't make it
-
what they don't know is assassin's blood
-
that flows through me in tornadic flood
-
-
The fantasies and stories and campfire tales
-
are my history, mystery, science, and sails
-
I fight dragons with penstroke, and ogres with keys
-
their legends my life, their tall-tales my breeze
-

Enigma

Mother's bane
a total disappointment.

Combat boots
and studded jeans.

The perfect contradiction
from multicolored hair to tattooed feet.

Poster child for emotional chaos
tradition's worst nightmare.

Rebuking society
stereotypes gone to hell

Leaving unforgettable fingerprints
the writing's on the wall.
