I Regret I Fear and Regret Revisited
I Regret I Fear - part one
I regret, I fear, that you were ever here
Love so intense, I feel too much to my chagrin
not better to be in love and lose
better to have that love at any cost
languishing in desolation
wish I could keep you at arms length
you envelop my heart
supine in my grief I repent at the alter of my emotions
wracked with regret I’ve let this wound fester
repair the chasm, let the lesion coagulate
