I'm confused, if there are 8 enrolled in this workshop that would make 24 cliches at 3 per person. For 9 participants there should be 27 entered. (I make 9) Is the list considered to be complete, now?

That would bring the numbers the cliche nos. to 24... Assuming that 2 more of the leaders would submit to the challenge, that would bring the numbers to 30.

would be glad to know what is expected in a re-write...for example i have posted a poem in which i believe i have used all the cliches listed for this workshop...i am wondering how i would re-write it..when honestly writing it the first time in itself was quite challenging :)

Ian,

since Chrys has asked us to vote, it would be right for us to honour that request. Your opening comment "There is no need to vote on anything in the workshop"..is going to cause confusion between the participants.

Chrys is the leader and has asked us to vote, so vote we should since we agreed to comply with the syllabus.

Afterall, the voting is a fun element and has been the catalyst for the banter seen so far in the workshop. Also, you stand a very good chance of winning and we all like prizes!! and it will really upset Eddie if you do!! LOL!

I totally agree with everything else you've said and am pleased to know the exceptional Poetry Forms has included some of what we have discussed during the workshop.

I am really pleased how all the workshops have started off, the first round was a little bumpy, but we all stuck at it and made it work. The second round has been equally as fun, and like you said "informative".

The proof in the pudding will be making it an on-going sucess, and that falls on all of us.

Dear Workshop Participants

On the 27 of June I sprained my right wrist by banging it into a doorknob. I have been off-line for a couple of days nursing it with ice packs and a brace. I'm now back, using the one handed hunt and peck method of typing. I will try to catch up with all the entrys.
