As I find myself getting old I often stare
A daily habit that I refuse to share

I begin to review my life from the start
And start thinking about the day I will depart

I review the day that I met the world of my life
And thank the Lord for a most loving wife

I see my children now a bit older too
And recall the delights we have had,a grand review

Now with great grandchildren playing about
Listening to their laughs and words they shout

By winds starting to whistle

I want to express this simply
In terms of knowing
I'm not surprised that presence is a transaction
Of misguided perception
In the eyes of your mother
In the eyes of your god
I'd think of holding you
Somewhere when time has moved on
To prey on missed intentions
That fuse deeply with the heart

I should be at work
I should get out of bed

But it's so heavy

I keep wondering

People who commit suicide are not cowards.
They are the brave ones.
Brave enough,to stop being covered by this blanket.

He collected up his rage,
prepared to hurl it at them all.
He never understood it,
why they thought that he was small.

He'd show them what he could do,
tear their hearts out, make them pay.
They'd see he was real evil,
he'd come and ruin their day.

They refused to see his worth,
ignored him at their peril.
They should have looked just once more,
'cause now, he's going feral.

when he/she brazenly
accessed ATM machine

pulled off outright theft
found him/herself
in possession of debit card
with Mastercard logo
(I deduce mail meant for us -
particularly the missus
got sent to incorrect address)
unknown person took liberty
considered themselves blessed
a golden opportunity

Smokey white mountains,
crisp clear azure streams.
Down from the hills
they flow just like a dream.

Standing so still
upon a precipice!
Looking out over
the wooded countryside.

Nobody knows
just what tommorrow brings.
If you are wise,
you'll contemplate deeply.

Give all your heart,
to see what the future brings.
When you were young
you sang to a different tune.

Societies pain and anguish,
you saw so clearly,
The sorrow of life,
it made no sense to you!

Minds that foretell fabricated prophecies should be scorched,
Same fate should be met by hearts that embolden futile sentiments,
Would it be immoral if I were to spite the creator for his astonishingly intricate creation we know as ‘life’ that we ALL sometime feel like it’s botched?
If so, can it be palpably corroborated that HIS creation is still part of HIS premeditated alignment.
