my tangerine bubble and I
My tangerine bubble and I
float eye to eye across the sky
over waterfalls and sunsets
and reasons why
beyond avarice and passion
and wanting to die
beyond whales and their backdrop
of stars in the sky
past storms that a mind
would surge in dark tides
to where the sun warms the shores
of an island beyond
and the past and the future
are melded as one.
